Ricarda Saleh was born 1991 in Kiel, Germany. She got her first name after her maternal Bolivian grandmother and her last name from her paternal Egyptian grandfather.
Growing up at the Baltic Sea meant spending endless summers cycling with friends to the beach and a secret lighthouse. Between windy Sundays at the beach she started working with photography, film and interactive art as a teenager.
Ricarda works as a Director (Film, Advertisement, 360°), a UX-Designer/Game Designer (focus on Interactive Film, VR) and a Photographer (Art photography).
Her work was shown at several exhibitions and festivals worldwide. For her work at the interactive film FiveMinutes.gs she was honoured with a Webby Award Nomination and the FAW Best Website of the Year Award.
